How can we support children and young people in the light of the Manchester attack?

The attack in Manchester has sent shockwaves across the country. Maybe because so many of the victims were children and young people, this attack has had a particularly strong impact on children and young people in all parts of the UK. As people who work with children and young people, it is vital that we consider how we respond to those who may be feeling shocked, angry or scared.

Jamie Cutteridge (editor of Premier Youth and Children's Work) has some helpful thoughts here.

As with so many, we join in with praying for Manchester, and especially for those working on the front line to support those affected.
