Project History
In 2020 when on a family holiday in Salcombe, South Devon, Becky and I found ourselves in the city of Plymouth for the first time. As we walked around the harbour and other parts of the city, we heard the Spirit of God speak into our hearts, a call to the city of Plymouth and its people.
Fast forward to September 2022, following the call of God we relocated our family from Nottingham to the great city of Plymouth to outwork the vision God has placed on our hearts.
Our heart at Restore Church Plymouth is to see each individual in our communities and the city of Plymouth know Jesus.
We are a vibrant, multi-generational, multi-cultural church sharing the word of God in a reverent and relevant way with worship, prayer and word being central to our heartbeat.
Restore church is not just a place for those who already attend church, but we believe that Restore church is a place where everyone can find home.
Structure & Vision
Our vision is born out of Isaiah 61
Isaiah 61
4 They will rebuild the ancient ruins
and restore the places long devastated;
they will renew the ruined cities
that have been devastated for generations.
From Isaiah 61 we formed 3 core values...
1. REBUILD THE INDIVIDUAL
‘Partnering with Jesus to Save the lost and serve the broken’
2. RESTORE COMMUNITY
‘Sharing and demonstrating the love of God to restore hope, connection and relationship to our communities’
3. RENEW A CITY
‘ Building His church to be empowered and sent out for the glory of God’

Location
We are based currently in the Community of Ford and Keyham in the city of Plymouth. Our vision is to build a must campus church and as the church grows we will look to plant out into other committees.
Ford and Keyham are communities that have been affected by tragic events over the last few years. As the church we have made it our mission to reach out and help out.
We also sit incredibly close to the community of North Prospect which has been renowned as one of the most deprived areas of the city. It is now in a state of transition, so we seek to connect with long term and new residents.
Current Ministry
This is an exciting time to join Restore Church over the last 10 month since Steve and Becky joined us as our new pastors we have been on a journey of repurposing the church and have seen substantial growth.
We are currently running miniseries such as, Youth and children work, Prayer, Care givers coffee morning, coffee mornings and so much more coming in the future. Being situated next to the Job Centre, we are interested in creating a Job Club for local people.
I also join with other local ministers in Prayer walking the area on Tuesdays every week.
