Childrens Youth and Family Worker

The job will involve, but not be limited to the following. It will be adapted as necessary to meet the trainee's needs and their desire to grow in their Christian faith.

To help implement the new vision for the Children and Youth work from September 2024

To support  the existing teams that work with Children and youth

To help plan one-off events within the community

To make and develop contacts with other youth organisations/events within Torbay

To help with Publicity and resources for events

Participate in the Sunday service and groups that meet on a Sunday morning.

Be willing to help /lead all age services

A committed Christian who loves God and has a desire to grow in their own faith

Has a passion to help young people find and grow their faith

Enthusiasm to work and build relationships with children and youth

Willing to learn good communication  skills

Willing to learn to communicate with families

Willingness to learn organisational skills

Approachable and friendly

Willing to try new things

A desire to become part of our worshipping community

Ability to work with Multi-Media and Technology

Creative skills

A desire to learn

This will be allocated with church memberswhen trainee is known.
