With so much going on in the life of TBC we are able to tailor a placement to suit your chosen path of interest. While encouraging and supporting you to do your best, we hope to use the skills and gifts that you bring to see our Ministry grow and flourish.
Depending on your experience there are opportunity's to lead, to be part of a team and also to learn. We would expect you to be fully part of the church family, including Sunday morning worship and at least one midweek activity. You will be Line-Managed and work alongside the Minister for Youth & Children.

Essential Criteria

The trainee needs to be a committed Christian, who has a desire to serve Jesus through all they do. We expect you to be committed to your studies (with our support) whilst following our guidelines for a high standard of work in every area. We expect you to treat people of all ages with respect and dignity, and to be motivated to apply yourself to this exciting and varied role.

Preferred Criteria

Ideally you would good communication and IT skills. You are able to work without supervision as well as in a team.
Any experience of youth/children's and community work would be valued and put to good use.
Being able to drive is useful but not essential in Teignmouth.

Accommodation Details

Depending on your personal circumstance you are most likely to be living with a host family from Church in Teignmouth
