Project History
Hayle Light and Life Church, which is part of the Free Methodist Church of UK and Ireland, started in Jan 2009 and has steadily grown into a multi-generational congregation of around 250 people.
We have a growing youth and children's work and our Little Ones project is regularly connecting with many under 5s and their parents/guardians each week. We are also engaged with Christians Together in Hayle, through which we have connections with local schools.

We aim to be a resource hub for mission and ministry, planting the gospel wherever the Holy Spirit leads us in West Cornwall and beyond. Our vision is to establish thriving, worshipping Christian communities in places where none currently exist.
We have a paid staff team of two full-time and one part-time supported by a Strategic Lead Team find and Operational Lead Team.
Location
Hayle is in West Cornwall and has a population of around nine thousand people, which swells during the summer months. Around 30% of children in our constituency are considered to be in poverty according to official statistics.
