The Baptist Church Kilmington

We are a growing evangelical church in rural Devon. We are committed to being a place where people of different ages and backgrounds can experience the love of God and relationship with Christ.

We are committed to the authority of Scripture and making disciples who can live out their faith in the spaces and places God calls them.

As well as our main weekly gathering, our building is used most days of the week for church ministries, community groups, and other initiatives.

As a satellite church, we draw believers from across the Axe Valley and there is emphasis on both our gathered and scattered worship.

Our vision as a church is to 'follow Jesus and welcome all'. We have eight 'who are we' statements;

Kilmington is a small village in rural East Devon. It is connected to many other small villages and towns.

Kilmington is located two miles from Axminster which is the nearest town.

Over the last two years we have seen a lot of church growth, particularly in our Children's, Youth and Families ministries.  We now hold two services on Sunday mornings at 9.15am and 11am.  Our children & youth groups take place during the 11am service.

While we are passionate about our gathered worship, we are also committed to being  about 'more than just a Sunday'. Our building is busy most days of the week with church ministries, community initiatives, community user groups, toddler groups etc.

We are passionate about equipping disciples who can follow Christ and be salt and light in the spaces and places God calls them.
