Belmont Exeter

Belmont Exeter began as a Brethren church in central Exeter about 70 years ago, and is now a large independent evangelical church with it's own building and a wide range of activities both on Sundays and in the week.

Belmont's mission statement is 'Share the Story and Live the Life' - it is Jesus' story and life that we are focused on living and sharing with those in our families and communities. Our Young Families' ministry seeks to help families with kids under 11 to grow closer to Jesus, whether they're following Him already or are yet to encounter him for themselves. This ministry includes both discipleship activities as part of our regular church programme, and outreach focused activities including midweek toddler groups and a primary-aged club.

Belmont Exeter is located in the city centre of Exeter, with some local housing in our neighbourhood along with a lot of shops and student accommodation! We have a majority 'drive-in' church population, but also have connections with the local community through schools work and our outreach club.

A wide range of activities for those with young families, including midweek groups for under 5s, a primary-aged Friday night club, Sunday school programme and connections with local schools. One-off events include a yearly holiday club and regular families events.
