Description
We are looking for an enthusiastic and responsible trainee to join our team at the vibrant evangelical Anglican church in the town of St. Peter Port, in the beautiful island of Guernsey.
We have a very established work with children and youth and employ both a youth pastor and a children's pastor with whom you would work closely.
You would be expected to gain experience and, over the year, take on increasing responsibility in working with both children and youth in a church setting. You would also have the opportunity to work in a variety of partnerships: in the community, with the schools work team and with other churches.

Enjoyed working with children and youth
Team player who is willing to learn from others
Takes responsibility for personal growth
Eager to gain experience in different settings/partnerships e.g. in schools
Enjoyed building relationships and getting to know people
Good communication skills
Wants to experience island life
Accommodation Details
If 'local' - use current accommodation if possible
'Non-local' trainees will be accommodated with a host family
Week Overview
Monday - Trinity Tots, study, free time
Tuesday - free time, Cluster, Youth group
Wednesday - schools work, prayer/prep, free time
Thursday - schools work, prayer/prep, free time
Friday - day off
Saturday - free time, relationship building with youth, youth activities
Sunday - 10:40 service, free time, 6:00 service and after church (youth)
Other activities will be agreed with line manager, including schools work with PACE (the island-wide schools work team)
