Holy Trinity Church, Guernsey

Trinity has a long history of working with children and teenagers both within the church and community.  We also have worked with other churches in respect of youth ministry.

Trinity Tots meets every Monday, term time only.  It is a playgroup for parents/carers to bring their children to.  We have lots of toys/activities, a singing and story time and a snack time.  Mainly families from the community attend.

Trinity Kids - this runs on Sunday during the 10.40 am service.

We have 3 groups:  A creche, reception - yr 3 and yr 4 - yr 6.  Parents can leave or stay with the creche aged children.  The middle group will have a short game and talk and then have crafts and games.  The older group has a more fast paced session with games, crafts, bible study, discussion etc.   Each group has 2 volunteers, one leading and one helping.

Building relationships with families in the community.

Providing a safe space and a listening ear.

To show the love of Jesus through example and conversations.

Vision for Trinity Kids -

A place for children to explore and develop their relationship with God.

A place where children want to attend and create strong friendships and a sense of belonging.

A way to encourage family involvement in their children's spiritual journey.

Trinity Youth meets 3 times a week -

Sunday mornings during the morning service for school years 7-9.  Bible study, snacks and fun.

Sunday evenings for a social after the evening service for all secondary age.  Pizza and fun.

Tuesday evenings for school years 9-13.  Dinner, Bible study and fun.

The vision for the youth work at Trinity is to invest in young people in order to encourage and help them to -

Encounter Jesus and become a disciple of Christ.

Share the gospel with others.

Learn to hear from God and use the giftings he has given them.

Follow Jesus boldly within their youth culture.
