FAQs

How much are tickets?

Early Bird Tickets are £88 from 1 October. Children’s tickets are half price for ages 5-7 and free for ages 0-4 when a parent is attending as a Helper.

For anyone caring for a child or young person who requires full-time, one-to-one support over the weekend, please contact your Group Leader. Group Leaders can request an application form by emailing info@spreesw.org Carer tickets are £20.

All activities and fairground rides on site are free!

Ticket prices increase to £99 after 31 March.

What is the age range for Spree SW?

Children must be at least 8 years old at the start of Spree.

If they turn 8 during Spree, they will need to have an under 8’s ticket (with their parent/helper present). Children under 8 must be supervised by their parents at all times.

The maximum age is 17 at the start of Spree. Young people who turn 18 during Spree can still attend. If they turn 18 before Spree starts, they can only attend as an adult helper with your group and must have a valid DBS.

Can I bring my dog with me?

Unfortunately not.  We can’t permit dogs onsite.  Please contact us if you have a registered guide dog as we may be able to make arrangements for this.

Can I get power at my campsite?

Electric Hook-Ups

A limited number of electric hook-ups are available for £66 and can be booked with your ticket. Or if you have already purchased a ticket, log into your Solid Rock account and add it to your booking. These are first come, first served, with one per group.

Hook-ups can power fridges, phones, lights and other low-wattage items. Please bring low-wattage camping kettles/toasters, as domestic ones use too much power.

You’ll need a 25m, 16–13 amp extension lead.

If you need more than one hook-up for medical reasons or a large group, email info@spreesw.org.

A freezer is available on site for ice blocks – ask at the Info Point when you arrive.

Can I come for just one day?

We don’t offer day tickets for Spree SW, but you’re welcome to purchase a weekend ticket and join us for just one day.

Can I bring a Caravan/Camper?

We’re able to accommodate a limited number of caravans, campers and motorhomes. Simply select the relevant option when booking your ticket. There is an additional charge of £20.

Will there be any food that I can buy onsite?

Yes!  We have catering vans onsite who you will be able to get meals and snacks from.  We do recommend that you bring catering for your group and cook yourselves as we do not control the catering van choices or pricing.

What disabled facilities do you have?

We provide an accessible portable toilet near the camping areas. If you need to camp nearby, please get in touch with us well in advance of the weekend so we can make arrangements.

Accessible indoor toilets and a shower are available from 8am–11pm throughout the weekend. Please visit the Info Point to collect the key.

We can also arrange a BSL interpreter for any of the venues. Please let us know in advance of the weekend if this is something you or someone in your group would need. Simply get in touch via our contact form and we’ll be happy to help.

Can I shower onsite?

Yes. There will be portable showers near to the camp sites and there are also showers in the main building at Westpoint.  Have a look on the site map to locate them.

Where can I park?

You’ll be directed to the car park on arrival. Vehicles are left at the owner’s risk.

No cars can drive onsite between 4pm Friday – 4pm Sunday. Campervans should arrive between 10am–4pm Friday where possible; arrivals after 4pm will need a steward to escort them in.

All vehicles must display a vehicle pass, available from your Group Leader.

Will I be able to charge my phone?
Yes there are separate areas for leaders and children to charge their phones. Please note that we cannot be held responsible for phones left unattended.
Is there any internet access onsite?

While there is a free public WiFi available for use, it operates at a slower speed, and 3G/4G is limited.  If you have forms or details that you need to access online during the event, please bring a printed copy with you.

Can I smoke or vape onsite?

We are a non-smoking and non-vaping site. If anyone would like to smoke or vape over the weekend we would kindly ask them to leave Westpoint premises to do so.

Help! I’ve done something wrong when booking a ticket!

First of all, don’t panic!  We are very good at getting problems solved, so we can definitely help you with this.  First things first, get in touch with your group leader – they may be able to help!  If they can’t help with the issue, drop us an email at info@spreesw.org and we will get in touch to sort it out with you.

How can I request a BSL interpreter?

We can arrange for a BSL interpreter to be in any of the venues, but we will need to know prior to the weekend if this is needed.  Please get in touch via the contact form if this is something that you would like us to arrange for you or someone in your group.

What is a Carer's Ticket?

A carer ticket is for an adult providing full-time, one-to-one support to a child or young person attending Spree SW.

Group Leaders can apply for a carer ticket in advance so that the support needed can be agreed before booking. If approved, the Group Leader will receive a booking link. Carer tickets are discounted at £20.

For youth groups with more individuals needing additional support, please purchase extra youth worker or adult helper tickets to ensure proper ratios.

Can I get a refund on my ticket?

As outlined in our Terms and Conditions, refunds are only available in extenuating circumstances, at SWYM’s discretion. However, we are able to offer ticket transfers.

Group Leaders can transfer tickets of the same type and value within their youth group through their Solid Rock account.

For transfers between different ticket types, Group Leaders can email info@spreesw.org before the transfer deadline. This applies to tickets that have been fully paid for, including all completed payment plan instalments.

Please note that any financial transactions are managed independently of Solid Rock and SWYM.

Can I visit Spree SW and see what it’s like?

Yes, we offer a pre-booked pop-in visit for an hour where we can show you around and let you see Spree SW in action. For more information, please contact us

Do You Have Somewhere I Can Freeze My Ice Blocks?

Yes, we do! Just ask us at Leaders Lounge where you can store your spare ice blocks.

Do You Provide for Children with Special Educational Needs?

We want Spree to be a welcoming and inclusive space where all children and young people can explore and grow in faith.

We’re continuing to develop our provision in this area and are excited to share what’s planned.

We will have a sensory-based space called Belong. Led by Mark Arnold from Urban Saints, this is for anyone who needs a little extra support to engage in regular sessions.

Each of the six main venues will include a sensory tent with resources and a team member available to support Leaders in helping children and young people engage with the session as needed.

On arrival day, if you require anymore information head to Info Point where any leaders or young people with questions or individual needs to discuss will be pointed in the right direction. We’ll also offer an early arrival tour for those who would benefit from seeing the site before it gets too busy.

Can I Stay Offsite?

Yes, you can stay offsite. For safety reasons, please ensure to sign in and out at the Check Point. For young people leaving the site, they will need to be accompanied by a Leader from their Group to the Check Point and have their ticket scanned.

If you need to leave the site with a young person outside of these hours, night security will require permission from their Group Leader.

Can I come to Spree SW independently of a church group?

Spree SW is structured in a way that requires attendees to join a registered organisation such as a church or youth ministry for safety reasons. Please contact us if you need help finding a local group to join.
