Venues and Seminars

Across the five different venues at Spree SW we provide a wide range of teaching and worship styles that encourage young people of every background to enter the presence of God to worship, reflect and pray.

This venue is pitched at 8 – 11s who perhaps haven’t been to many Christian events before, or haven’t yet worked out a personal faith in Jesus. We provide plenty of games, fun activities, songs, Bible stories and short talks to help this age-group better understand who God is and how they can relate to Him.

We are excited to have a new team this year led by Michael Franks from Coast Line Vineyard in Bournemouth. Michael has been involved at New Wine Kids for a number of year and is excited to be coming to lead this outreach venue exploring faith with a mix of games, music, small group work and more.

This venue is aimed at 8 – 11s who already have a faith and want to grow as a Christian, or who want to explore faith issues at a deeper level than the Explore venue. The programme features sung worship, creative prayer, relevant Bible teaching and plenty of space to have fun, share experiences and learn from each other.

We are looking forward to having the team back for their final year. Tim Cadoux and Wendi Davies from SWYM with Margaret Lilley from Scripture Union and Paul Hine & the Woodlands Band from Bristol. With a great mix of worship, talks, small group time there will be the usual interactive feel to this discipleship venue for 8-11’s.

Create is open to anyone aged 11 – 17 who is not yet sure of their faith or is new to Christian events. With a fast paced programme featuring bands, dj, games, small groups and engaging talks this is a great venue for young people who are either not Christians or not sure what they believe.

We are welcoming back Ollie O’Meakin and Hannah Aske from last year heading up this venue with Matt Levett coming back with a band this year. Jozzy will of course be making an appearance and some great guests speakers coming along too.

This venue is for 11 – 14s who are keen to grow as a Christian. Using youth-friendly Bible teaching, discussion groups, plenty of sung worship and fun activities thrown in for good measure, Deeper promises to be a great discipleship experience for this age group.

We are excited to be welcoming back Fiona Green and Toby Morgan to host the Deeper venue again this year with Joe Hardy and the band – We are excited to have Tim Alford from Limitless, Josh Green from 24/7 Prayer Youth and Pippa Baker from One Hope Project coming to speak.

The Encounter venue and chill-out space features age-specific teaching, small group activities, some fun activities together and time to respond to God. We also provide a workshop programme over the weekend, primarily aimed at those aged 14+, which looks at challenging issues for teenagers from a biblical perspective.

We are pleased to have Jack Saunders and Rich Miles and the Movement team back to lead this venue for their third and final year. With a creative worship space and youth cafe in the venue and speakers including Josh Green and Pippa Baker we are excited to have a great venue again for this year.

Throughout the weekend there will be various seminars for young people to engage in; featuring inspiring stories and practical insights into what the bible means for us today. These times are designed to give young people the opportunity to ask questions and find ways to navigate life’s challenges.
