Description
Kingsbridge Youth For Christ (KYFC) partners with local churches to see young people's lives changed by Jesus. Working with school students, impacting the rural and seaside communities of Kingsbridge and its satellite towns and villages.
The Trainee Youth Worker will work with the Centre Director, Youth Worker and Volunteers to run and develop existing youth work projects as well as having opportunities to use their unique talents and passions to innovate and creatively impact the work we do.
This role will be working the majority of your time with Kingsbridge Youth For Christ and 8 hours with a local church - helping to run and develop their youth and childrens ministry on a Sunday morning.
Please see all information about current projects in the Ministry Profile.
Essential Criteria
The trainee must love Jesus and have a heart for seeing young people's lives changed and transformed by Him.
Due to the rural area we live in and the limited public transport - the trainee must have a full UK driving license with access to their own vehicle.
Accommodation Details
The accomodation will depend on the individual and their preferences. It will either be a small apartment style house living on their own - catering for themselves. Or it will be lodging with a family or individual from a local church. This will be down to the trainee's confidence/experience of living independantly.
